This is Marrakech — the Red City of Morocco. Founded in 1062 by the Almoravid dynasty, it's a city where ancient tradition and vibrant modern life blend together in a sensory whirlwind. The city gets its nickname from the distinctive red-ochre sandstone used in its buildings and walls, which glow warmly in the North African sun.
