Imagine a road so long it stretches from the coast of China to the shores of the Mediterranean Sea — roughly 6,437 kilometers of desert, mountain passes, and oasis cities. Now imagine that road bustling with camel caravans carrying silk, spices, jade, and glass.

That was the Silk Road — not a single road, but a vast network of trade routes that connected civilizations for over 1,500 years. Along these paths traveled not just goods, but ideas, religions, art, music, and even diseases.

Today we begin our journey in Samarkand, Uzbekistan — one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Central Asia and a jewel of the Silk Road. Ready to ride? Let's go!
